Uummannaq
Scenic Fjords and Heart-Shaped Mountain
Uummannaq is famous for its dramatic setting beside a heart-shaped mountain and ice-filled fjord. It's a traditional fishing town where dog sledding and seal hunting are still practiced. Visitors enjoy the peaceful setting, cultural museum, and boat tours through iceberg-filled waters. It's also believed to be the real home of Santa Claus in some Danish traditions.
