Narsarsuaq
Gateway to South Greenland’s Viking Heritage
Narsarsuaq is known for its access to Norse history and hiking routes. Located near Erik the Red’s former settlement, the town offers views of the Qooroq Glacier and access to flower valleys and Viking ruins. Visitors often hike to the ice cap or take boat trips through the fjords. It also hosts a small museum dedicated to WWII aviation history.
