Hans Egede House
Greenland’s Oldest Standing Building
Built in 1728 for the Danish-Norwegian missionary Hans Egede, this colonial home is the oldest building in Greenland and a symbol of the Christianization of the island. It’s preserved as a government reception house in Nuuk.
