Bois de Vincennes
Largest Park in Paris
The Bois de Vincennes, located on the eastern edge of Paris, is the city’s largest public park and offers a refreshing contrast to urban life. With its vast expanse of greenery, it includes lakes, trails, gardens, and even a small zoo. The park is also home to the Château de Vincennes, a medieval fortress with a history that dates back to the 14th century. Visitors can enjoy activities like boating, horseback riding, and picnicking in beautifully landscaped areas, as well as exploring the botanical gardens and the Pagoda, an authentic Buddhist temple. It’s a peaceful retreat ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and families.
