Veneto
The Land of Venice and Wine
Veneto is famous for the romantic city of Venice, with its canals, gondolas, and landmarks like St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace. However, the region has much more to offer, from the art and architecture of cities like Verona and Padua to the wine-producing hills of Valpolicella and Soave. Veneto is also home to the stunning Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for skiing and hiking. The region’s cuisine includes dishes like risotto, polenta, and tiramisu, which was invented here.
