Arctic Circle Trail Campsites
Iconic trekking route with scenic camp spots
Along the Arctic Circle Trail between Kangerlussuaq and Sisimiut, there are numerous primitive campsites. These are the most famous wilderness camping spots in Greenland, used by hikers on the 160 km trek. The terrain includes tundra, lakes, rivers, and expansive solitude. Water is abundant, and huts are occasionally spaced along the trail for emergencies or backup shelter.
