Nanortalik, meaning “Place of Polar Bears,” is known for its dramatic coastal cliffs and proximity to Tasermiut Fjord. It’s a key destination for climbers and hikers. The open-air museum and preserved turf houses give insights into traditional Greenlandic life. Boat tours and nature walks are popular here in the summer months.
